Can updates to specific queries be restricted?

Is there a way to restrict editing of specific queries?

In general, we want RTC users to be able to create queries and change their queries. But we have some queries that are integral to the change process; there are also shared queries and it would impact all users if one user accidentally or intentionally changed them. Users have to be able to run these queries, but we want only specific Roles to be able edit them.

Is there a way to restrict updates to specific queries or groups of queries? Can we possibly define a classification of Queries and assign roles for access/edit?

Thanks.

No.. and admin layer is not data sensitive.. I submitted an enhancement request a while back on a data driven permission model.

this 'administrator' could/should roll down to user level permissions too

Thanks, Sam. I don't think our needs are exactly the same since yours are based on enumerations and mine are based on queries, but close enough. I just subscribed to the work item you mentioned.
