Editor Presentation: create even split left and right slots?

I do not think there is a layout built for 50/50 space layout.. I think this requires coding to accomplish

I have not seen any publications on creating the presentation layout implementation.

Thanks for the information. I already read through plus another nice article. However, none of them talked about how to split with customized width (%) on left and right slots.
