Display DOORS internal links as hyperlinks

I want to be able to highlight a DOORS internal link in an attribute ( via getURL(o) ) as a
hyperlink and then be able click on the link to jump to the linked object in DOORS.
I want this as an alternative to navigating through the DOORS in/outlink icons.
Have tried unsuccessfully with htmlText(). Has anybody any ideas ?

DOORS does not recognise doors:// style URL's.

Even if it did, you would probably find that using this mechanism would be much slower that right clicking on a link indicator arrow. Try following a doors URL from word and see how long it takes, even if the module is already open.

One option might be to keep the Object Properties dialog displayed with the links tab selected. Double-clicking on the link takes you straight there.

When having all the link texts in a layout dxl or attribute dxl column it would be so easy to follow by just clicking on the linked text....

Now this initial post is 7 years ago, have you found a solution for this simple matter?

Maybe with the introduction of OSLC some new dxl features have been implemented that allow following of internal links, too?
