disable delete links options to users

I would like to have a module setup so that, users have (1) RMCD access to it, (2) are able to create links from this module, and (3) are NOT able to delete any existing links from this module. Is there a way to do that?

I tried with removing Delete access from the Linkset, It does not work. Please advice. Thanks!

Remove modify access to the link module where the links are contained or to that linkset. Removing Delete access doesn't stop them from being able to delete the links, just the linkset. Linksets are the same as objects. But yes its very ambiguous. Gotta read the help file.

Sorry I missed the part where you still wanted to be able to create links. Unfortunately I don't think this is possible for a certain user/group. Because creating and deleting links is linked to the same access right. A user either has modify access to the link module/linkset or they don't. I don't know of a way to prevent the deletion of a link if you have permission to do so. I don't think you can set up a trigger to detect when someone is trying to delete a link and prevent it from happening. But I could be wrong.
