DOORS Integration with MS Project

Is it possible to integrate DOORS with Microsoft Project Using DXL???

That is the third time you are creating a post for this. Don't you think that If someone had experience with an MS Project integration then someone he/she would have answered. I immediately found some integrations when I entered 'DOORS "MS Project" integration' in google.

  • PMConnex for DOORS/MSP
  • Eccam AllChange

Unless you specify what exactly you want to do, or decide that you want to implement an MS Project integration in DXL and have questions regarding that, I am not sure anyone will be able to help you any better than redirecting you to google or maybe the normal Rational DOORS board. Regards, Mathias

I already know about the PMConnex (but that is third party tool),I just want to try my own first.
My goal is to integrate DOORS with MS Project using OLE Automation,but as a first step I should know Is it possible or not??that's why I had to confirm it.

Since MS Project has a COM interface (See here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb244260(v=office.12)), this could be possible. However you face restrictions in DXL (e.g. not being able to pass arrays to functions), so you might run into a show stopper there. Regards, Mathias
