Setting auto-indentation for main column

I was trying out some scripts on view creation and copying and noticed that could not find any method in DXL to set auto-indentation for the main column.

There is a function void useAutoIndentation(ViewDef vDef, Bool), but this to my understanding just sets the auto-indentation status to be saved in a view definition. But how can you set the auto-indentation to be on (as the toolbar button with the lighting symbol over the column icon)?

Am I missing something here, or is DXL missing this function?

Well did you try:

current = ...
autoIndent true

Nope :-) But I found it also in the DXL Help.

Thanks for pointing that out!
