DOORS 8.2 DXL Encryption

Dear all,
while there are many threads on DXL encryption for DOORS 9.1 and later, I wasn't able to find any information on how to encrypt DXL includes for DOORS 8.2 and earlier.

Our project still has to use DOORS 8.2 and we need to encrypt a DOORS script for deployment on a project server. I tried to use the DOORS 9.1 encryption tool, which can be downloaded here: https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/reg/download.do?source=RATL-RATIONAL&S_PKG=CR84FEN&lang=en_US&cp=UTF-8&dlmethod=http.
But it seems not to be backward comaptible to the earlier Telogic DOORS releases.

Does anyone know where to retrieve an encryption tool that is compatible to DOORS 8.2?

You can download old DOORS versions from (needs IBM ID)

thank you very much for this fast reply. I've found the encryption program and it works fine. I was already on this page but must have overlooked the download entry.

For all others: Search for 'Zip file containing DOORS_DXL_encrypt.exe' on Pekka's link to find the encryption tool for DOORS 8.2.

In case you didn't realize, they've changed the encryption a couple times. IIRC..
-vDon'tKnow-v?.?
-v?.?-v8.1
-v8.2-v9.1
-v9.2+

You'll need the correct encryption tool for the version of DOORS. It also means if you migrate your version crossing one of the boundaries, you will need to secure your source code and re-encrypt everything.
