I believe you but I cannot get there, that link re-directs me here:

and from there I'm only 120 clicks away from giving up in disgust which is routine for me on their Web site; wish I knew what I was doing wrong.

After installing I see the dxl manual file "dxl.chm" is here:
c:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.4\help\

Good, I've been looking for it also.

HOWEVER: the chm and the PDF are just v9.3.0.0 (not v9.3.0.4); and I heard tell last year the do not figure to make new files for each subversion ..err.. sub-version; hopefully I heard wrong.

IBM publishes its manuals on line now - go to this website http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/doorshlp/v9/index.jsp, in the left hand pane, scroll to the title "Featured help topics", at the end of this is a link to download a PDF copy of the latest DXL Reference Manual as well as some other manuals.

I don't have DOORS version 9.4 installed, but the usual convention in past versions of DOORS is to make a copy of the DXL Reference manual available in the Help menu of both the DOORS Explorer and open Modules.

IBM publishes its manuals on line now - go to this website http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/doorshlp/v9/index.jsp, in the left hand pane, scroll to the title "Featured help topics", at the end of this is a link to download a PDF copy of the latest DXL Reference Manual as well as some other manuals.

I tried that... but the file at the end of the link is the 9.3 version of the reference manual. I find the same thing when I go to the help menu in the DOORS 9.4 client.

sigh.... I guess I will just have to wait till they catch up.
