DXL internal functioning

I am planning to develop a new script for a project. I came across this DXL and wanted to know whether DXL scripts does most of its work by calling C/C++ functions implemented as part of DOORS.

I mean Is the DXL script is just calling some wrapper like functions ?

I am wondering.

Are you just curious about this subject or do you have a plan.

If you have a plan that is based on the answer you ask -- can you provide insight on how this info would help you.

Your post is a bit confusing. I'm reading it like you found some DXL and are asking about it. But you didn't post any DXL.

Are you just asking how DXL works? If so it is a scripting language. Some of it uses functions implemented in DOORS.

Its a completely separate language and only works in DOORS. DXL is similar to C, kind of like a Moth is similar to an Eagle.

DXL 'perms' in the manual are at the bottom of the chain, no they are not wrapped advanced functions.
