Export to Excel with Links

Hello:

I am trying to have DOORS export to excel with linked modules. So far, this is only possible as HTML, and I've been reading over the DXL files and it doesn't appear to be so simple to merge part of the HTML export functions to the CSV export found in Excel. Galactic solutions' script does not handle links.

I need to generate an excel-compatible format that includes both out and in-going links.

Thanks!

It is not clear what you mean by links  -- links don't exists in excel

Hello:

I need to get an output of what the linked modules are, for each specific example:

Where:

  • SW_REQ_X are objects of the current module
  • SW_Testing and CustomerRequirements are different modules
  • SW_TestCase_X and Requirement_X are objects of other linked modules

What would happen if you created a view with the traceability wizard then export to excel?

Thanks. This did exactly what I was looking for.
