Systems and Software Engineering (SSE) Solution 5.0.2 Optional Programs

Install optional programs to support advanced deployments. You should install and configure these programs before you install any server applications. To ensure that you installed all the required fix packs or service packs for these programs, see the system requirements for CLM and the system requirements for SSE.

Program Download Description
IBM® DB2® DB2 downloads Jazz Team Server and the Change and Configuration Management (CCM), Quality Management (QM), and Requirements Management (RM) applications support IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition. For platforms that do not support Enterprise Server Edition (32-bit Linux), you can use IBM DB2 Workgroup Server Edition. You can obtain a trial download of one these DB2 editions or the free DB2 Express-C for deployments of 25 developers or less. Trial downloads of DB2 might not be available for all platforms, but should otherwise provide all functions necessary to evaluate Systems and Software Engineering (SSE) Solution. Each purchased client license for Systems and Software Engineering (SSE) Solution includes a license to run one instance of DB2 Workgroup or Enterprise Edition (excludes z/OS®) to support Systems and Software Engineering (SSE) Solution. IBM WebSphere® Application Server WebSphere Application Server downloads IBM WebSphere Application Server can host Jazz Team Server and CCM, QM, and RM applications. You can obtain a trial download of WebSphere Application Server. Trial downloads might not be available for all platforms, but should otherwise provide all functions necessary to evaluate Systems and Software Engineering (SSE) Solution. Each purchased client license for Systems and Software Engineering (SSE) Solution includes a license to run one instance of WebSphere Application Server to support Systems and Software Engineering (SSE) Solution. Express editions of WebSphere Application Server are also available for IBM i at no additional charge by ordering Web Enablement for IBM i. See the license agreement for use restrictions.
IBM Rational License Server Available to purchasers of Jazz token licenses Rational License Server can serve token license keys for a Jazz Team Server. The license server is built with FLEXlm, a third-party component that is developed by Flexera. This program is available to purchasers of Jazz token licenses.
