About the Rational Connector for SAP Solution Manager: The Rational Connector for SAP Solution Manager provides the ability to integrate key areas of IBM Rational software with SAP's application lifecycle management solution.
The Rational Connector for SAP Solution Manager enables you to share data between the Rational tools and SAP Solution Manager. You can export SAP Solution Manager blueprints to create Rational Quality Manager test plans and test cases and Rational Requirements Composer requirements. Later, test results can be imported into Solution Manager from Rational Quality Manager for reporting and analysis. In addition, the Rational Connector for SAP Solution Manager allows users to create links between Rational Team Concert work items and SAP Service Desk incidents.
The Rational Connector for SAP Solution Manager, version 4.0.0 supports Rational Quality Manager (3.0.1.2+, 4.0+), Rational Requirements Composer (3.0.1.2+, 4.0+), Rational Team Concert (3.0.1.2+, 4.0+), Rational RequisitePro (7.1.1+), and Rational ClearQuest (7.1.1+, 8.0). SAP Solution Manager 7.1 Support Package Stack 2 is required for this integration. The Rational Connector for SAP Solution Manager, version 4.0.0 also provides an integration between SAP Business Process Change Analyzer (BPCA), if SAP Solution Manager 7.1, Support Package Stack 5 is installed.

3Install the Rational Connector for SAP Solution Manager
Download the installation package from the All Downloads tab.
Unzip the download and run launchpad64.exe (Windows 64 bit), or launchpad.sh (Linux). Please note that using the launchpad64.exe, as the Rational Connector for Solution Manager works on a Windows 32 bit system, but it is not currently supported.
Follow the instructions in the documentation to install with WebSphere Application Server or Tomcat.
