This is a summary of the main new features and improvements in the 3.0.1.5 release of Rational Requirements Composer.
Rational Requirements Composer is an integral part of the Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM), which provides seamless integrations for application lifecycle management with reduced cost of ownership and administration, improved cross-product visibility and reporting, and lifecycle integrations.
For information on new features and changes in other parts of the Collaborative Lifecycle Management solution, see the Jazz Foundation 3.0.1.5 "New and Noteworthy", the Rational Team Concert 3.0.1.5 "New and Noteworthy", the Rational Quality Manager 3.0.1.5 "New and Noteworthy".
The following new and noteworthy improvements are in Rational Requirements Composer 3.0.1.5:
Upgrade and Migration |
Improvements in the migration of templates and reviews. Better handling of uploaded artifacts such as images. |
Rational RequisitePro Migration |
Improvements to the import of baselines and document conversion. |
Type System |
Improved stability and reliability of the type system and caching, particularly in the area of the system defined types. |
CSV Import and Export |
Improvements to the export of data to CSV files, specifically in the area of custom link types. |
Pasting HTML |
More kinds of HTML data can be pasted into textual artifacts. Previously, for example, if you copied and pasted part of a spreadsheet, an error message would prompt you to paste it as plain text. In this version, the pasted data is converted to the supported data format. If a file contains poorly formatted HTML data, the tool might not be able to convert the data. |
