Rational License Key Server (RLKS) is the server application that hosts the floating and token based licenses. These licenses are consumed by various Rational applications for software licensing and used for restricting software access. RLKS helps the customer to be compliant with the IBM Licensing agreement.

The IBM Rational License Key Server Administration and Reporting tool helps you to administer license servers and report license usage. This tool provides a consolidated list of all the license servers in your organization.
