If you are a new user, you can directly install IBM® Rational® Insight 1.1.1.7.

After downloading Rational® Insight 1.1.1.7 from , read the installation roadmap that lists the high-level steps required to install the three packages that make up the Rational® Insight offering: Rational Insight, Rational Insight Data Services, and Rational Insight Development Tools.:

• Follow the roadmap to install Rational® Insight 1.1.1.7.

If you have a previous version of Rational Insight, RRDI version 1.0.2.x, RRDI version 2.0 or RRDI version 2.0.0.1, you can upgrade to Rational Insight version 1.1.1.7 to use the new features and fixes.

• Follow the instructions included in this roadmap to upgrade to Rational® Insight 1.1.1.7.
