Rational Insight uses REST architecture, direct database access, and Rational Insight data service to extract data from distributed systems and generate both live and historical cross-product reports and dashboards. You only need to download the file(s) for the desired platform. Optional programs can be downloaded from the Optional Programs tab.

Download tip: Due to these large file sizes, we highly recommend that you use a download manager to work around a download size limitation on some web browsers (typically 2 GB maximum) and to improve the download performance.

Unzip tip: On many platforms, the default unzip utility included with the OS (Extract All on Windows) may not properly unzip a file whose size is more than 4 GB (even just 2 GB in some cases). We recommend that you use an external unzip utility like 7zip.

Rational Insight Data Services enables the creation of data connections to Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest, and Rational RequisitePro. The Rational Insight Data Services installation file can be used to install on all supported platforms.

The Rational Insight Development Tools help you customize the Rational Insight data model, XDC mapping, and ETL. Rational Insight Development Tools can only be installed on Windows platform.

You might experience dialogs that warn you about script errors if you use Rational Insight 1.1.1.7 with Internet Explorer (IE) 10 or later and the Jazz Team Server (JTS) 4.0.6 or later and log in through Data Manager with the Jazz namespace. This fix removes that script error when you attempt to log in. The script error is caused by the Jazz Team Server's use of new HTML 5 features available in IE 10 and later.
