Known issues

There is one minor issue with Help documentation that is bundled with the product. If you upgrade from Fix Pack,, or to Fix Pack, sometimes clicking the local Help link on Build Forge Console web-page might still show the older version number instead of, on the Welcome page.

This can be corrected as follows:

    1. Log-on to the server hosting Build Forge Console and stop Build Forge Console if it is running.
    2. Delete the BuildForgeHelp directories in the Build Forge installation, if they exist. The following are sample paths for these directories but the exact location may vary based on your installation.

    3. For Windows, typically the paths will be as follows.
      • C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Build Forge\Apache\tomcat\webapps\BuildForgeHelp
      • C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Build Forge\Apache\tomcat\work\Catalina\localhost\BuildForgeHelp

For Linux, typically the paths will be as follows.
      • /opt/buildforge/server/tomcat/webapps/BuildForgeHelp
      • /opt/buildforge/server/tomcat/work/Catlina/localhost/BuildForgeHelp
    4. Start Build Forge Console.
