Offline index verification
The new offline repotools command -verifyJFSIndexes now checks the JFS indexes and fulltext indexes, identifying possible corruptions. A quick check or an extensive check can be done. For example, an extensive check is run as follows:
repotools-rm -verifyJFSIndexes mode=extensiveCheck
Offline index synchronization
The new repotools command -synchronizeJFSIndexes now synchronizes the JFS indexes and fulltext indexes with the resources in the database. This command can be used on indexes that are older than the current database state to bring them to the same level.
