UnauthorizedSessionRequestExceptions when session 'security integration' is enabled

On WebSphere Application Server 8, the default value for 'security integration' of sessions is enabled, but using a Jazz-based product with that default value will lead to UnauthorizedSessionRequestExceptions seen in the server log files. If security integration is left enabled, then users will be allowed to log in at first and after some period of time, the users will appear to lose access to the server. Clearing the client's cookies will enable the client to log in again and work for some period before losing access again. To disable the security integration support in sessions, use the WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console web UI and uncheck 'security integration' checkbox on the Application Servers > {server name} > Session Management page.

More information can be found in UnauthorizedSessionRequestException when using WAS 8 (180343)

Clustering is not supported on WebSphere Application Server 8

Due to incompatibilities between WAS 8 and the version of eXtreme Scale 7.1 that we packaged in Foundation, WAS 8 cannot be used for cluster testing. In a future milestone, a newer version of eXtreme Scale will be included that allows for clustering on WAS 8.

More information can be found in Adopt eXtreme Scale 7.1.1 (183806)

Data warehouse migration to M7 on Microsoft SQL Server is not supported

For migrating an existing data warehouse to M7, we only tested migrations on Derby, DB2 and Oracle systems. The following defects affecting other database vendors were uncovered late during M7 and will only be resolved during M8:
CRJAZ1728E unexpected error occurs while updating datawarehouse of CLM 3.0.1 to 4.0 via repotools-jts.bat (193163)
Cannot migrate warehouse to M7 on SQL Server (193111)

Client Access Licenses (CALs)

The early access 'Foundation User' client access license key included with the Jazz Foundation 4.0 M7 Milestone Candidate milestone - Jazz Team Server will expire on February 16, 2012. Jazz Foundation is provided as early access technology and, as such, users and consumers are expected to move aggressively to the most recent milestones and releases in order to take advantage of the latest fixes and enhancements and to ensure that feedback is timely. If the expiration date above has passed, this should indicate that there is a newer milestone or service release available containing a CAL with an updated expiration. If you encounter this situation, please visit the Jazz Foundation downloads page and check the list of milestones and releases to identify a more appropriate download.
