• The Data Collection Component now fills in the historical drill down tables (RIDW.H_*).
• The Data Collection Component now fills in the RIDW.F_FILE_STREAM_METRICS table.

Self Serve Reporting Capability

Now JRS provides the capability for practitioners to create their own reports in a powerful and easy to use interface. It's designed to be intuitive without any technical knowledge of the underlying data base technology. Users have the ability to create table based reports for a single artifact type. They can specify the set of characteristics or filters on the artifact type that determines which data will be displayed. You can also control the formatting of results with an interactive preview and which data of the artifact will be displayed. The resulting report can be run inside the JRS user interface and subsequently export to Excel if desired. Alternatively the report can be added to a dashboard as a widget along side the existing reports provided by CLM or the out of the box reports from JRS.

To manage these reports there is a explorer view ("�Use"��) that lists all the reports stored in the JRS. The reports can be organized by tags, visibility and / or filtered through a text search. This is also the launching page for editing or duplicate existing reports. In the 5.0.1 release only user created reports are currently editable or duplicable. All of the out of the box reports are only viewable / runnable in the JRS UI.

Improved Out of the Box Reports

There are some incremental improvements to the out of the box reports in 5.0.1. Specifically it is now easier to select a filter parameter value since the control has a text search box available. Using the text search it will narrow down the number of choices in the filter list making it much easier to find and select a value you are looking for.

Cognos Business Intelligence

The Cognos Business Intelligence included in RRDI 5.0 releases was based on Cognos version 10.2.1 fixpack 2. RRDI 5.0.1 stays with the same Cognos release for this sprint.
