Known problems and workarounds

RRDI 200324 Automate JTS setup and RRDI setup app registration with one click

The configuration of the Rational Reporting setup server has been streamlined. After completing the RRDI installation and the setup server start, the user would no longer need to run the setup server configuration scripts (e.g. server.config.bat for Windows systems and server.config-*.sh for Linux and AIX systems); the user can go directly to the setup server web page (https://:10443/rrdi/setup) and provide the information on the Registration page (for the first-time) for both configuring the setup server and registering the RRDI setup application.

RRDI 197800 Enable the Setup Cognos Archive Load page to download the archive files

The Load Cognos Archive page in the Setup Wizard can be used to download the report packages from the connecting CLM server directly, and import those packages into the content store of the report server.

RRDI 197802 Remove the Run Postsetup Tasks scenario

The steps in the Run Postsetup Tasks scenario have already been included in the common setup task list on the same Welcome page as the rest of the scenarios. So, this scenario has become redundant, and is removed to reduce confusion on those steps.

RRDI 198930 Include additive Data Warehouse schema changes

The data warehouse schema has been augmented with several additional fields and keys for broadening the coverage of the reportable items. The data models also include the corresponding changes for supporting additional customizations.

CLM 234409 An error message may pop up while running an RRDI report in Internet Explorer

While running an RRDI report on a report server connecting to CLM server, the user may see some error message during the report execution. This may occur on the Internet Explorer, while it works properly on the Firefox web browser.
