Hello,
I'd love to be able to use Rational Doors at work. (I'd like to use it for the requirements of my future software projects.) What are the best tutorials to do so? Are there any good videos on Doors? What tutorial books should I look at? I'm a programmer in computer languages such as C/C++, Java, and C#. What are the widely used versions of Doors available? How do they differ?

Re: Rational Doors Tutorials Tutorial videos you can find at Youtube https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=rational+doors Also the IBM help pages contain tutorial videos and other introductions to DOORS. Sorry, no books. And to help you forward note that there are two different software applications: Ration DOORS (the so called Classic, client server app) and DOORS Next Generation (web application). These have different database servers and actually different information models. Actually there is also a third DOORS, a web client for DOORS Classic called DOORS Web Access (DWA). This uses the same database as DOORS Classic. |
Re: Rational Doors Tutorials There are a lot of on demand webcasts available and 3 of my very own here: https://321gang.com/2012/02/09/managing-doors-the-administrators-toolbox/ I am predominantly a DOORS Classic user and a long time DXL developer (similar to C, very easy to learn). |
