Table shows in the module explorer but is not there actually

In one of the modules, the table icon shows up in the module explorer but when we try to select that table, it jumps up to the beginning of the module. That means it actually does not exists in the module.

I tried checking up the history and there isn't much I found from there. Is there a way we can delete this stale table icon somehow?

We are using DOORS 9.4.0.0

Attached is the screenshot. When I select the first table icon, it shows up the table on the left but when I select the second one, it jumps to the first object of the module.

I could not load your screen shot; but I suspect you have some sort of filter or other display issue that prevents you from SEEING the table. The Explorer is not necissarily filtered the same way as the main pane, but I don't know when and when not. Load the "Standard view" and try again.

Thank you Louie for the suggestion, but I have tried in the "Standard view" only and the problem is still there.

The Table Marker that appears in the Module Explorer represents the so called Table Header object - a hidden object that acts like a parent object for the whole table.

Is this possibly a situation where only the Table Header object is present but all other table cell objects have been deleted? This would normally not be possible as DOORS deletes the Table Header object when a table is fully deleted. But I hark back to the early days of when tables became a feature of DOORS and I seem to recall that this was possible.

Go to the Module menu and select View > Show then deselect the "Table Cells" option. This hides all table cells but unhides the Table Header object.

At the location of the strange Table Marker in the Module Explorer, do you now see an object displaying the following text ">>Table" ?

If yes, then this is a Table Header object. Mysteriously, this would be a residual Table Header object that has somehow survived the deletion (and maybe purging) of the cell objects that once formed the table. Once visible, this Table Header object can be deleted.
