2. How Rational DOORS links to Rational Synergy and Rational Change?

3. Changes in v9.5 from v9.4

Thank you all

DNG and DOORS 9.5 are two completely different products. You can find more information on DNG at:

https://jazz.net/products/rational-doors-next-generation/

DOORS 9.5 contains information about the DOORS/Change Management interface:

Thanks Kourosh for DOORS NG info.

Are DNG and DOORS 9.5 etc going be there for a while as a parallel products (for few months? or few years?)

Or is DOORS 9.5, 9.6 etc will be discontinued after few months?  or few years?

Will DOORS 9.5 customers get to upgrade to DNG for free or not?

Are DOORS 9.5 projects/modules be portable to the DNG without difficulties?

Thanks.

Mike:

Many companies cannot look at migrating their existing DOORS projects to DOORS NG, so both products will be around for a long while.

Currently, for every DOORS license you have, you have an equal entitlement to DOORS NG.

I'm not sure about the migration to DNG of DOORS projects/modules.  Most people I know are using ReqIF to accomplish this migration.  I've never done it myself, though.

Hope this helps
