Hello, we are installing version 9.6.1.6 of DOORS, and it is happening that in some case (apparently) the export generation option (Export->Document Generation-> Export) is greyed out. This has never happened before, and prior releases (we were working with 9.5.1.2) did not have this problem. Do you think it is a problem of the installation, or it can be easily fixed or should I open a PMR ? Thanks

Re: Document (RPE) Export option greyed My gui doesn't have: Export->Document Generation-> Export There must be some confusion here. Mine has Export->Document Generation->Microsoft Word Export->Document Generation->PDF Export->Document Generation->HTML Export->Document Generation->Configure Module Configure Module is grey out if I am read only mode.
Please check what your problem is and clarify.

Hello, thanks for the answer. The problem has started appearing after a few clients were updated to version 9.6.1.6. Some further research, almost by chance to be honest, have shown that it is a problem with the dropping of Java with the DOORS after 9.6.1.3. Defining the environment variable JAVA_HOME with a ad hoc version of JRE solved the issue. Apologies if the menu are slightly wrong, but I cannot check them now, as I will be out of the company for a long time. Thanks for the answer, but after 2 weeks I had almost forgotten I had posted something here. Apologies again, and now I must find a way to close the issue

Re: Document (RPE) Export option greyed yes, the issue of the grayed out menu is solved when JAVA_HOME is set. it worked fine with me as well. e.g. in the systems environment just create the JAVA_HOME variable and add the corresponding value (see screenshot).
