I am importing a set of documents, and I have already imported more than ten documents successfully. Suddenly for one particular document, the heading levels in MS Word styles is not recognized by IBM DOORS.
If I try importing a older document, it works fine as it works in the past, for the same formal module. So i guess the module setting is fine. Re: IBM DOORS not recognizing heading levels when DOORS (or other tools) import a Word document, the structure is usually not related to the paragraph style but to the outline level.Most of the time, but not always, a style "Heading 2" corresponds to Outline Level 2 and vice versa. But it is totally possible to change the outline level of any paragraph, independent of its paragraph style.
Look at the outline structure of your Word document (View -> Outline) and see whether there is a problem. Correct the outline levels and reimport the document.
