How do i create a WORD hiperlink

Dears

How do i create a WORD hiperlink that opens Telelogic doors in Read only mode independent of the user profile?(Ex. RMCD profile)
 
when a RMCD user opens the doors using WORD hiperlinks the telelogic doors opens always in edit mode, which is not desirable.

You will have to change the way they users doors open a module by either changing the registry or changing the command line that opens doors.

I'm not sure if this is possible. I know the URL can navigate to a specific View. I just checked the view properties though, and Edit Mode is not listed as an option.

How about just changing the default Edit Mode for the module?

You can look in the doors help file under command line to get the syntax to change your short cut. To get the commands to change to registry look in the old forum ie.,

I agree, shortcuts could accomplish this (with a command switch for example). I think Speed CAE is looking for a URL solution though. The URL solution would be nice since it's not dependent on the DOORS.exe install path.

If you want more than what IBM provides, you have to put in a change request then wait and pray.

Edit the registry, folks. When most users open module X, they need to open it read-only. So set DOORS to open all formal modules read only!

I don't know why Telelogic defaults it to Exclusive. If they didn't, this question wouldn't exist.
