Hi All,
I am administrator of Rational DOORS 9.6.1.11. Few end users receive dxl error intermittently while linking modules. They are using terminal server to access DOORS client. ========================================================================== R-E- DXL: <C:\program Files\IBM\Rational\Doors\9.6/lib/dxl/config/finishBaseWindows.inc:19> command (confirm) needs a GUI -I- DXL: execution halted. ========================================================================== I ran an integrity check on the impacted module but nothing happened. What would be the possible reason for this issue. How can we fix it.

Re: DXL error while linking modules Hi Sousan,
Not an explanation, but a workaround: I could imagine that this is related to the prompt "Would you like to load modules from last session" which the user is asked when they start DOORS. This can be disabled by Tools->Options->Settings->Miscallenuous->Prompt to open all modules from last session at startup.
I am not sure what happens here, just a wild guess: perhaps in a terminal server session the DOORS session is restarted when the connection is not so good?

Regards, Sousan Hi Sousan, it's a personal preference, so, you will have to spread the word that the users shall change this setting for their account.
