how to make activate ole object in doors

Hi,

1.My OLE OBJECT field is disable which is not active in doors. I am trying to make it active so that i can also enter ole object but it is not activated.

2: When i import reqif file which contains ole object, does not show ole object like pdf, excel into doors after importing.

1) You need to be in Text entry mode in the object. You cannot add an OLE to an object Heading

     press Ctrl-T

 

2) ReqIF does not 'handle' embedded objects very well Frown. If your source is another Doors database, use the Doors Archive process if it's something else hopefully someone with more ReqIF experience than I have will be able to help

First question answer got resolved.

Second i will be trying according to suggestion.Tongue

if Reqif does not handle very well then why customer gives Reqif file which was exported from Doors only and contains pdf and excel file.
