Hello,
I have an OBJECT TEMPLATE in my Word template :
OBJECT TEMPLATES
{<<IE PUID>>} <<Object Text:richText>>
The problem is, when I export my module, here is what I get :
{ID_EXI_10}
Blabla bla
I have a return after my IE PUID and I don't know why, I'd like to have my IE PUID and my Object Text in the same line, is it possible?

I encountered the same problem when I first started using WEXP. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of the forums at that time, so I quickly gave up searching for a solution and decided to work round this by defining my Object Template as a table with two cells - one for the Object Id and one for the Object Text. This has worked well for me, with the added advantage that the text is all aligned, etc. if you like that kind of thing.
I don't know if there's a real answer to this issue, but the table approach at least offers a workaround.

Hm, strange. I quickly gave it a try and defined a template in the way you described it. It perfectly works as expected, i.e. no extra return added. If you want, you can post your .dot file and I see if I can reproduce your error with it.

OK thanks.
Here is the kind of template I'm using.
If you find out what's wrong that would be great! That's really weird I don't know what's happening.

Well, with your template I have the opposite problem, i.e. there are not enough returns: the second requiremend ID (in curly brackets) does not appear in a new line; the exported document looks like
...
{foo} this is a requirement.{bar} this is the second requirement.
...
Looking at the bookmarked template, this is exactly what one would expect, as the template does not contain a return neither.
The fact that you do not observe this makes me wonder whether you probably have the extra returns in your "Object Text": could you please check whether your "Object Text" probably has an empty line at the start and at the end? This would perfectly explain your results.
Regards,
Peter

Hello and thank you,
You were right, i actually had a hidden problem :I didn't fill the "Object template" attribute in the WEXP export view, when i did it i had the no return in my generated document like you said above.
I corrected my object template by putting a return.
Thanks for your help
