Error opening module "Error while parsing file '/v6data/.../module.dt' ..."

Dear all,

currently we are having problems with our DOORS 9.2.
Since this morning all newly opened DOORS instances keep having problems opening formal modules. I luckily had an older instance open from yesterday, because the computer ran a script overnight. When I closed the instance however and reopened DOORS, I got the same problem.

This is what happens when any of our team opens a formal module:

First we get the following error message:
"Error while parsing file '/v6data/60/80/00/m00048d65.mod/module.dt' at line 1: expecting parent"

On clicking OK the next error message appears:
"Error while parsing file '/v6d' at line 1152: expecting AbsNo"

On clicking OK the next error message appears:
"Error in module data: Loading object 263, cannot locate previous bling 264."

On clicking OK DOORS loads a little further, then the next error message appears:
"Error while parsing file '/v6data/60/80/00/m00048d65.mod/module.dt' at line 1: expecting parent"

Now it doesn't matter how often you click OK, the error will always reappear.

Do you know the problem and / or a solution that might help us?

Best Regards,
Alexander

Since the v6data directory is on the client machine and contains data sent from server for parsing, I am taking a wild guess that this is caused by a network problem and your network IT department needs called in.

Another Guess: Server needs to be restarted.

Dear all,

just in case you run into a similar problem: The issue could be solved by restoring the file mentioned in the error message (/v6data/60/80/00/m00048d65.mod/module.dt) from the .dtb backup file.
