      Synopsis

      In this task the Program Release Manager identifies, analyzes, and prioritizes work to the program based on a risk assessment and makes the appropriate changes to the Release Plan.

      1 Notify Program Release Manager of potential risks

      1.1 Mitigate Risk 

      The Program Release Manager reviews the Value Dependency Graph and the Business Release Roadmap to identify committed work and trouble spots in the Release Plan.

      1.2 Take Action

      The Program Release Manager requests an analysis of the sizing of the work, the capacity of the teams, and current committed work.

      2 Make Changes to Release Plan 

      The Program Release Manager makes changes to the Release Plan.  The impacted teams will receive Change Approval records.

      4 Follow-up

      The impacted teams must approve the changes to the Release Plan and then commit to the approved Release Plan.
