Agile teams often struggle with a lack of the right training, practices and tooling. The IBM Rational Solution for Agile ALM with Scrum provides an integrated set of capabilities to support your agile delivery needs.  Specifically, it provides explicit support for Agile Planning with Scrum, whose key aspects are depicted on the above diagram. Simply click on the terms to access specific guidance on each. Tool agnostic, as well as Rational Team Concert specific guidance is provided, allowing you to learn the practices and adopt the associated tool features at your own pace.

In addition to the practice guidance, an enhanced Scrum process template is provided that can be installed into Rational Team Concert which will jump start your teams adoption of Scrum. This template makes it easy to create new projects.  The template is also integrated with the practices themselves, providing one-click access to best practices from within Rational Team Concert work items, providing you context-specific guidance when and where you need it.

This solution is just a starting point. The practices and tutorials should be supplemented by training and experienced mentors. Over time and with experience, teams should adapt the solution to suit their own particular circumstances and culture, employing continuous improvement.
