IBM Rational Build Forge is an adaptive process execution framework that automates, orchestrates, manages, and tracks all the processes between each handoff within the assembly line of software development, creating an automated software factory. Rational Build Forge integrates into your current environment and supports major development languages, scripts, tools, and platforms; allowing you to continue to use your existing investments while adding valuable capabilities around process automation, acceleration, notification, and scheduling.
What's new in 7.1.1.4?
This release provides new capabilities for Rational Automation Framework for WebSphere. It also includes the first release of Build Catalyst, a make-build acceleration utility.

Rational Build Forge 7.1.1.5 is now version 7.1.2
This renumbering reflects that the release will include some changes to the product's behavior. All previous and future milestones of this release will now be version 7.1.2.
Milestones for the ongoing maintenance of Rational Build Forge 7.1.1.x will be posted under the 7.1.1.x version as they become available.
Incubators: evaluate and influence future functionality
Incubators provide trial versions of technology that might be incorporated in a future release of Rational Build Forge or Rational Automation Framework for WebSphere. Download and install the incubator software to better understand and plan for potential upcoming enhancements. You can also make suggestions and help guide how the functionality is ultimately implemented. With the currently available incubators, you can:
