1 Apache Derby is included with the default installation to allow quick installations for simple trials or small teams. However, when using Apache Derby, the server limits the number of users to a maximum of 10. To avoid this limitation, install using one of the DB2 editions or another supported database.

2 Each valid client license includes a license to run one instance of DB2 Workgroup or Enterprise Edition (excludes z/OS) and one instance of WebSphere Application Server to support Rational Requirements Composer. Trials of DB2 and WebSphere Application Server are also available. Express editions of WebSphere Application Server 7.0 and 8.0 are also available for IBM i at no additional charge by ordering Web Enablement for IBM i. See system requirements for details.

3 This scenario requires WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment Edition (not included) and WebSphere eXtreme Scale (included). Each valid client license includes a license to run one instance of WebSphere eXtreme Scale to support Rational Requirements Composer.
