We recommend Rational Quality Manager and Rational Test Lab Manager 2.0.1 iFix 3
This is a pre-release milestone build. We recommend that you install any pre-release build as an additional instance, in a separate directory, and that you do not "Update" your existing installation to the pre-release build using the IBM Installation Manager.
A release candidate is a pre-release milestone build that should contain all features planned for the release. After this point only defects are fixed prior to release. Each subsequent release candidate should be more stable than previous release candidates.

Welcome to Rational Quality Manager 2.0.1 Release Candidate 1. This download is provided as a preview of the features to be delivered in version 2.0.1.
By default, this software is installed into a separate directory at C:\Program Files\IBM\RQM201 (Windows) and /opt/IBM/RQM201 (Linux/AIX/Solaris). You do not need to uninstall any prior versions of the product. Do not install this software in a production environment.
Links are provided to the 2.0.1 pre-release Information Center on jazz.net. It is best to log on to jazz.net before attempting to navigate to individual files in the Information Center.
To install Release Candidate 1, including the Rational Test Lab Manager component, follow these steps:
- As a precautionary measure, back up your data from any previously installed versions if you want to preserve your data.
- Download the zip files for Rational Quality Manager and Rational Test Lab Manager from the All Downloads tab. Refer to the Rational Quality Manager System Requirements before installing to make certain that your system meets or exceeds the minimum required configuration.
- Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file to a temporary directory.
- Start the launchpad application located in the RQM_SETUP folder.
- Follow the instructions at Installing Rational Quality Manager. If version 2.x is already installed, you will see a warning that "Another version of this package is already installed." You can simply press Continue to continue with the installation. Do not try to use the Update or Modify features of Installation Manager.
- Follow the instructions at Upgrading to 2.0.1 if you want to migrate your data.
- Download the Build Forge zip files if you plan to use Rational Test Lab Manager.
2Optional: Download Rational Team Concert Client
Rational Team Concert is required for certain administrative tasks, such as updating reports.
Get the Standard Edition of Rational Team Concert 2.0.0.2.
3Optional: Download Rational Common Reporting
Download Rational Common Reporting from the All Downloads tab. Follow the instructions at Installing Rational Common Reporting.
