Rational Publishing Engine 6.0.6 Optional Programs

Install optional programs to support advanced deployments. You should install and configure these programs before you install any server applications. To ensure that you installed all the required fix packs or service packs for these programs, generate the system requirements.

Program	Download	Description
IBM® DB2®	DB2 downloads	Rational Publishing Engine Document Builder application supports both IBM Db2 Enterprise Server Edition and IBM Db2 Workgroup Server Edition (for 32-bit Linux platforms). For evaluation purposes, you can download a trial version of IBM Db2 at no cost for deployments up to 25 developers. Each purchased client license for Rational Publishing Engine includes a license for one instance of IBM Db2 Workgroup Server Edition. For usage restrictions, see the license agreement.
IBM WebSphere® Application Server	WebSphere Application Server downloads	IBM WebSphere Application Server can host the Rational Publishing Engine Document Builder application. You can obtain a trial download of WebSphere Application Server. Trial downloads might not be available for all platforms, but should otherwise provide all functions necessary to evaluate Rational Publishing Engine. Each purchased client license for Rational Publishing Engine includes a license to run one instance of WebSphere Application Server to support Rational Publishing Engine. IBM Rational License Server	Available to purchasers of Jazz token licenses	Rational License Server can serve token license keys for a Jazz Team Server. The license server is built with FLEXlm, a third-party component that is developed by Flexera. This program is available to purchasers of Jazz token licenses.
