Sync Upgrade Notes

• General

  • Log4J was upgraded to Log4j2. As a result, customized log4j.xml files need to be migrated to the Log4j2 format. A migration guide can be found here:https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/migration.html.

Connector-Specific Upgrade Notes

• BMC Remedy

  • Any integrations including comments need to remap the comment flow configuration.
  • Upon upgrading, you can notice that previous BMC Remedy SOAP integrations result in a 404 Error that blocks migration. This is a result of the SOAP option deprecation. Migration can occur only after the new REST address is provided in Hub.

  Do not check "Use REST API" as this field has been deprecated. This field produces errors if checked on the UI.

  Any integrations should work as expected once the new endpoint has been entered, the information is saved, and the migration is complete.

  Microsoft Azure DevOps Server

  • The connector now only supports Team Explorer Everywhere version 14.136.0. After upgrading the product, Sync must be configured to use this version.

• • Fixed an issue where subsecond values for Actuals Sum for Labor Resources caused an error.

• • Fixed an issue where the Blocked or Blocked Reason fields might not be updated.

• • Fixed an issue where the connector could not retrieve artifacts that are created in versions earlier than 7.0.

• IBM Engineering Workflow Management

• • Fixed an issue where multiple users existing with the same username, but different casing blocked artifacts from synchronizing.
  • Fixed an issue where multiple users existing with the same ID, but different casing blocked artifacts from synchronizing.
  • Fixed an issue where existing artifact links were cleared out when updating unrelated fields on an artifact.

• Micro Focus ALM Octane

• • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented available workspaces from being listed.

• Microsoft Azure DevOps Server

• • Fixed an issue where tags were synchronized back to the repository by using the tag ID instead of the tag label.

• Polarion ALM

• • Fixed an issue that occurred when retrieving fields with an empty label.
