General

Follow the instructions at https://docs.tasktop.com/sync/user-guide#UserGuide-MaintenanceandInspection to upgrade your product.

Version-specific Upgrade Note

  • For security reasons, Integration Adapters Tasktop Edition no longer allows TLS 1.0 or 1.1 communication to repositories by default. If your repository connection fails with the following message, "The server selected protocol version TLS10 is not accepted by client preferences [TLS12]", you should reach out to your IT department to request that the repository be reconfigured to allow TLS 1.2 or greater.

If re-configuring your repository is not an option, please follow the steps below to enable the banned protocols in your Integration Adapters Tasktop Edition installation:

    1. Find the JRE directory provided with your installation. This will be in the Program Files for Integration Adapters Tasktop Edition in Windows installations, or at the top level inside your Linux installation.
    2. Open the jre/lib/security/java.security file.
    3. Find the line starting with "jdk.tls.disabledAlgorithms".
    4. Remove "TLSv1" and/or "TLSv1.1", depending on your needs.
    5. Restart your Integration Adapters Tasktop Edition application to continue using the affected repositories. [Security Fix]
