We're pleased to announce that IBM Rational Quality Manager 2.0.1 is now available for download.

Version 2.0.1 includes several productivity enhancements such as project templates and master test plans, the ability to duplicate test artifacts and copy manual test steps, category grouping, expanded full text search and test artifact filtering.

Just 4 short months after the release of Rational Project Conductor 1.0, we are happy to now release Rational Project Conductor 1.0.0.1 which includes some enhancements as well as bug fixes.

Rational Project Conductor 1.0.0.1 is based on Rational Team Concert 2.0.0.2 and provides support for Firefox 3.5 and Internet Explorer 8. It also now provides the ability to sort work items in the workbreakdown structure and allows organizations to perform discrete resource assignments.

We made all the enhancements from Rational Team Concert 2.0.0.2 available to mainframe and distributed development teams. These enhancements include Web-based document versioning and enhanced traceability with Rational Requirements Composer.

In addition, we have extended the Jazz Gateway so that it is available on UNIX, Linux and Windows as well as System z.

We're pleased to announce that IBM Rational Requirements Composer 2.0.0.1 is now available for download.

Version 2.0.0.1 includes integrations with Rational RequisitePro, Rational Software Architect and Rational Software Modeler, as well as support for Microsoft SQL Server, 64-bit databases and 64-bit operating systems, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0.

We also recently published Performance and Scalability Test Results for Rational Requirements Composer version 2.0.

We're making agile development even easier with a simplified Scrum process template that automates setup of a top level product backlog, supports the continuation of tasks that span multiple sprints and provides reporting access directly from the Client for Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.

We've also added simple, web based versioning of documents, version control support for symbolic links, enhanced traceability with Rational Requirements Composer, and support for both Windows 7 and Windows 2008 Server R2.

Adapters for interfacing Rational Quality Manager with HP Quick Test Professional and HP LoadRunner are now available for download on jazz.net with the Rational Quality Manager 1.0.1 release. With these adapters, you can associate HP Quick Test Professional and HP LoadRunner scripts with Rational Quality Manager test cases, initiate the execution of the test cases, and visualize the results directly within Rational Quality Manager.

This release of IBM Rational Team Concert extends team collaboration to Microsoft .NET developers with a new client that works with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008. Customers can reduce their costs with a single repository for both .NET and J2EE platforms. This release supports cross platform team collaboration, with integrated common work items, source code management and builds. Additionally this release enables global deployment of Rational Team Concert with support for thirteen native languages.

This incubator provides experimental code for integrating Rational Method Composer 7.5 and Rational Team Concert 1.0.1. You can generate a Jazz process template based on a process modeled and documented in Rational Method Composer, which is then uploaded along with the published process documentation to the Jazz Team Server.

The Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration initiative is aimed at simplifying collaboration across the software delivery lifecycle. Its goal is to enable teams to use disparate tools and share lifecycle resources in delivering software, whether the tools are from IBM, other vendors, open source projects, or in-house development, and to do so in a way that is open and non-proprietary and that will encourage all industry members to participate.

Several members of the Jazz team attended EclipseCon 2008 in Santa Clara, California. We've written up reports on several of our Jazz-related talks on the Jazz Team Blog.
